The EXABONE PUTTY nano HA constituent has a surface area that is 50 to 100 times greater than traditional synthetic bone graft and supports vascularization and integration. The biphasic granule constituent is fully interconnected and provides support during bone formation and remodelling phases.
EXABONE PUTTY remains as a soft paste and will perform as an osteoconductive scaffold for at least 12 months, following which the residual material will continue to slowly resorb as part of the natural remodelling process, within a period of 24 months from implantation.

Clinical applications
Requires no mixing. Pre-loaded in a convenient applicator ready for direct placement into the defect. The aqueous based composite is malleable and easily molded by hand as needed.
Prior to implantation, EXABONE PUTTY may be combined with autologous bone as per normal surgical practice.
Indications
EXABONE PUTTY is indicated for treating defects of the long bones and extremities, and EXABONE PUTTY may also be used for the filling of cages in spinal fusion procedures.
